Richard C. Hall, age 67, died at Riverside Hospital on April 13, 2012 as a result of a cerebral hemorrhage. Rick was born & resided for many years in Michigan. He graduated from Alma College in 1967 with a Bachelor's Degree in art & biology. He then earned a Master's Degree in Medical Illustration from the University of Michigan. His profession took him many places, but he especially enjoyed living in Grandview Heights & Chagrin Falls, Ohio where he ran his business, Medical Media & taught Medical Illustration at the Cleveland Institute of Art. He retired in 2004 and was honored by receiving the Max Brödel Award for Excellence in Education by the Association of Medical Illustrators. He is survived by Susan L. Rogers Hall, his wife of 42 years, as well as his daughter Melissa Combs (Frank), and son Matthew Hall (Lisa). His beloved grandchildren: Logan, Cameron and Reid Hall & Claire and Evan Combs, who will miss him greatly. He is also survived by two sisters, Cathy Webster & Sandra Rule, and numerous nieces & nephews. Arrangements for a memorial art exhibit and a scholarship are pending.
