Corey William Kemmerling

Corey William Kemmerling, born January  5, 1989; passed on May 19, 2017.  Corey was a resident of Columbus and graduate of Grandview Heights High School Class of 2007.  Corey lived a great life which ended much too soon.  Happy, outgoing and with a genuine personality, Corey always shared his huge heart in all that he did.  Corey was an avid animal lover, rescued several dogs and raised many throughout his life.  He was very gifted and capable with his hands which were fed by his creative mind.  His artistic pursuits were constant and obvious in every aspect of his life.  Corey had a smile for all, which displayed his humble and kind soul.  Eager to apply his mechanical expertise, Corey never saw a vehicle that he could not fix, and willingly helped those who needed it without a second thought.  Corey was an amazing son, an awesome brother and a great friend to those who knew him.  He is survived by his father, Rodney (Theresa) Kemmerling of Columbus; mother, Monica Kemmerling of Florida; grandmother Lona Kemmerling of Grandview Heights; grandparents Tom & Jeanne Jahn of Florida; brother Jake (Brandy) Kemmerling of Columbus; uncles, Cliff (Anna) Kemmerling of Plain City; Scott (Cindy) Kemmerling of Dublin; aunt Carrie Jahn of Florida; cousin Amber Kieffer of Florida; soulmate, Desiree Michelle Bergholz of Columbus; cousins & great aunts & uncles.  Corey was preceded in death by grandfather, William Kemmerling of Columbus and great grandmother Alice Schumacher of Columbus. Please join us  in celebrating Corey’s life on Tuesday, May 30 from 5-8pm at DEYO-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1578 W. First Ave., Grandview Hts.
