Carl A Morefield, Jr., age 87, of Grove City, passed away at Mount Carmel West Hospital on Thursday, February 26, 2009. He was preceded in death by son Charles, brother Bill, sisters Helen and Katherine, and parents Carl and Nellie Morefield, all from Jenkins, Kentucky. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Parma, by 3 sons, Ercel, Carl III, and Keith, by 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Carl is lovingly remembered for his sense of humor, his love of children and being loved by children, and his kindness and patience to all. Carl was retired from The Shenango Furnace Company, formerly Bonny-Floyd Steel Castings. Friends may call at the DEYO-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1578 W. First Ave., Grandview Hts., Sunday March 1, 2009, from 2-5 pm where service will be Monday, March 2, 2009, at 10:30 am.
