ALBAN Charles Ellis "Bud" Alban, 84, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2008 at his home in Marble Cliff. Born on June 30, 1924 to the late Alban E. & Lelia R. Alban. Preceded in death by the love of his life, his beloved wife of 61 years, Jackie Alban. He has been lost without her for almost 6 years. Also preceded by sister Lelia Marie Clark, grandson Charles M. "Chad" Alban; great granddaughter Brianna Dye, brothers-in-law Ralph E. Shaffer & James Clarke. Veteran U.S. Army WW II. Former Owner, Founder & Past President of Alban Equipment Co. He married at 17 and worked hard to support his wife and 4 children. Now he can rest and be with his wife. Survived by daughter Delores (Ray) Kessler; sons Jim (Patty) Alban, Roger Alban, Jeff (Lucy) Alban; sisters Virginia Clarke & Faye Shaffer; 9 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. He will be sadly and greatly missed by his family and friends. Friends may call at the DEYO-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1578 W. First Ave., Grandview Hts., Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where service will be 10 a.m. Thursday. Pastor James Sledge officiating. Entombment Union Cemetery.
