Cheryl A. (Longnecker) Martin

Cheryl A. Longnecker Martin, 47,  passed away December  15, 2015 at Kobacker House.  She was born on January 5, 1968 in Columbus, Ohio.  She was a graduate of The Ohio State University and worked at Highlights For Children.  She is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Jeremy Martin; parents, Brooks and Anita Longnecker; brother, Kevin (Nancy) Longnecker; nephew, Scott (Sara) Longnecker and children Ethan and Eli Longnecker; nieces, Allison (Brandon) Mendenhall and Kathleen (Kiel) Igoe;  aunt,  Marilyn (John) Marsh; uncles, Gary Stapleton and Larry (Jan) Stapleton; and other cousins; father-in-law, Herman Martin; mother-in-law, Juanita Martin; and sisters-in-law, Gretchen Sharfman and Krista Fuld.  She was preceded in death by grandparents, George (Fay) Longnecker  and Ashley (Lois) Stapleton; and brother Gregory Longnecker. Through Cheryl's Awesome Scavenger Hunt, cascavengerhunt.info, she was a patron of The Park of Roses, The Ohio State University Stadium, Columbus Museum of Art, Schiller Park, The Franklin Park Conservatory, The Columbus Zoo, COSI, and Darby Creek Metro Park.  Friends may call at the DEYO-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1578 W. First Ave., Grandview Hts., Thursday 5-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service Friday at 10 a.m., Pastor William Hartfelder officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
