Daniel Thomas Haines, 69, of Powell, formerly of Grove City, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, died peacefully Thursday, June 3, 2010. U.S. Air Force veteran. Retired from State of Ohio and retired as Executive Vice President of Chase Manhattan. Respected colleague. Nature lover. History lover. Avid sports fan, especially the Buckeyes. And will always be remembered for the "Haines" wit. Member of the Grove City Lodge #0689 F&AM, Scottish Rite, Aladdin Shrine. Predeceased by parents Rolla and Sarah O'Grady Haines; brothers Robert, Richard, Michael Haines; sisters Rosemary Story and Sally Wobbrock and best Westie pal, MacDuff. Survived by wife of 30 years, Marti Graves Haines; son Jim (Beth) Haines; daughters Karla (Mark) Pizzurro and Karen (Brian) Dearth; nine grandchildren and one great grandson; Mother-in-law Alpha Durand; brother-in-law Rick (Lynn) Graves and his beloved Westie boys, Grady and Jake. Masonic Service to be held Tuesday, June 8 at 7pm, 3558 Park Street, Grove City with private internment.
