Elizabeth Jane (Button) Lemmon, 86, of Columbus died September 5, 2008, at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born in North Adams, Mass.; she was retired from the Ohio Adult Parole Authority. Serving with the WAVES during WWII, she worked at the Navy Department in Washington. She was once active with Players Club, Stadium Theatre, Vaud-Villities and Village Little Theatre; she had memorable performances in "The Rainmaker" and "Solid Gold Cadillac." She was preceded in death by brother Robert Button and sister Lois Montgomery. She is survived by children Linda Najjoum of Bluffton, S.C.; Lex (Sarah) Lemmon of Dublin; Susan (Bryan) Green of Pataskala; Jeffrey (Suzanne) Lemmon of East Lyme, Conn.; Tracy (Michele) Lemmon of Columbus; and Todd (Kimberly) Lemmon of Granville; sister Shirley (Arthur) Arditti of Warren, N.J.; grandchildren Jason Najjoum; David (Michelle) and Joshua (Leilani) Lemmon, and Jill (Tom) Westbrook; Hannah, William and Henry Green; Zachary and Jeffrey Lemmon; Conor and Nora Lemmon; and Ross and Audra Lemmon; great-granddaughter Kate Lemmon; close friends Rita Schmalz and Frances Voss; and many other friends and relatives. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the DEYO-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1578 W. First Ave., Grandview Heights; with a private graveside service at Union Cemetery.
