I grew up across the street on Wyandotte Rd from Esther. When I was you I would go visit with all 3 Miller ladies. Sometimes I would go over when I was lonely or scared when I was home alone after school.
Later on, I would stop just now and again to visit Esther and thank her for her kindness to me when I was young. RIP Esther

I really admired Esther’s joy, spunk and sense of humor and I only knew Esther the last 12 years of her life! She always had a story to tell about her family or about a recent adventure. She really filled a void in my life a few years ago because she was often available to chat and always ready to go. On a warm, sunny day, she would often say, "I'm ready to go, go, go." Over the past couple of years, we had many dinners together, traveled to Amish country, the Longaberger homestead, Lake Erie, the Little Brown Jug, Urbana, a polo match, the New Albany Classic and more. With all the traveling we did, the thing that I will miss most is stopping by for a chat. As I grow older, I hope I can be as joyous, healthy and active as she was in her golden years.

Esther was a real treat to know. She was so in charge of her life and willingly shared the history her family left to Upper Arlington. We will miss her buzzing in and out of the Senior Center on her way to Ed Lentz's lectures or the Shakespeare Club. Don & Sherrie Brubaker
