Eunice M. Chutes

Eunice M. (McKnight) Chutes, passed away March 26, 2016 at her home in Upper Arlington. She was born August 18, 1928 to the late William H. and Eva Mae (Buckley) Sanderson in Lancaster, Ohio. Lived in Cardington, Ohio in her early life and later on the Hilltop and graduated from West High School. Employed for 39 years at DCSC and retired 25 years ago. Member of First Community Church. Enjoyed playing bridge and other card games with friends. Traveled extensively with her husband to many beautiful and interesting parts of the world. Survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Chutes; son Mark (Jeanne) McKnight of Columbus; step-children Lori (Robbin) Buckley of Marietta, OH, Daniel (Julia) Chutes of Riverside, CA; grandchildren Amy McKnight, Jeffrey (Alison) McKnight of Groveport, OH; great granddaughter Chloe; sister Delores Parliament of Dayton, OH and sister-in-law Scheila Sanderson of Galloway, OH; many beloved nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sister Betty Higgins and brother William Sanderson. Friends may call at the DEYO-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1578 W. First Ave., Grandview Hts., Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. James Long officiating. Private interment Alton Cemetery.
