Frederic Nelson Alderman, 94, passed away April 24, 2018 at Friendship Village of Dublin. He was born in Fall River, Mass. Preceded in death by his parents Charles Nelson and Olga Teresa Alderman, his wife Anne Alderman and first wife Martha Alderman. Survived by stepchildren Paul (Wendy) Stevens, Rebecca (Raymond) Pokorski and James Stevens: grandchildren Ezekiel, Jacob, Ellie Grace and Anna. Fred was a long-time member of Mountview Baptist Church where he served on many boards with his wife Anne. Fred graduated from Dartmouth College and earned his degree in Chemical Engineering. He served in the Army during World War II in Layte Gulf, the Philippines with the First Cavalry. Fred worked at Foxboro Industrial Instruments until his retirement. Fred and Anne loved traveling and their greatest adventure was a trip around the world. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friendship Village of Dublin Resident's Benevolent Fund. A memorial service will be held in the Muirfield Room at Friendship Village of Dublin, 6000 Riverside Dr., at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday April 28. Online condolences may be made at www.deyodavis.com.
