Frederic G. Hunt

Frederic G. Hunt of Upper Arlington died April 3, 2025. He is survived by his son James; 7 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Freda and son Douglas. He was an Eagle Scout & member of the Brotherhood of Rooks graduating from Grandview High School in 1946. He was a member of Beta Theta Pi while attending Ohio State University graduating in 1951. He entered the U.S. Air Force upon graduating & served during the Korean Conflict retiring as Captain. He was a Vice President with United McGill Corp. until 1986 when he retired & opened a Consulting Engineering Firm, as principal, specializing in Marina and Floating Dock Design closing the business in 2012. He was a Professional Engineer, Commodore of the Leatherlips Yacht Club & frequent tennis player at Swim & Racquet Club, Northam Tennis and Players Club. A member of First Community Church & Life Member of Grandview High School Alumni Association, Ohio State University Alumni Association & Upper Arlington Civic Association. Service will be private.
