Jack Alexander Hartley, 71, January 4, 2012 at Kobacker House. He was a Postmaster for the U.S. Postal Service. Graduate of Grandview Heights High School where he was a member of the "gloious" class of 1958 and a member of the Brotherhood of Rooks. He had 36 years of active and reserve duty with the U.S. military, a good friend of Bill W. and Dr. Bob and attended St. Peter's Catholic Church. Preceded in death by parents James and Alice Hartley, niece Deanna Hartley. Survived by wife Judy; son Christopher Hartley; daughter Tricia (Scott) Koonse, step-daughter Tara (Charles) Hanchett; brother Richard (Mary) Hartley; sister-in-law Jennifer Hill; granddaughter Emma Rose; niece and nephews, Mark, Jonathan & Lauren Hartley, Joshua Bailey. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Sunday at the DEYO-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1578 W. First Ave., Grandview Hts. where the family will receive friends 2-4 p.m. Sunday.
