James "Yogi" Yonker Oct. 24, 1945 - Mar. 4, 2008 A Mass of Christian Burial for James William Yonker, 62, of Newark, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 66 Granville St., Fr. Bob Penhallurick, Celebrant. The family will receive friends at the church starting at 9 a.m. A graveside ceremony will be held at Wilson Cemetery. He passed away peacefully on Tuesday March 4, 2008. Yogi, as he was affectionately called, was a loving father and husband, who took pride in providing for his family and helping his friends. He owned and operated Yonker's Towing and Auto Care for over 40 years and most recently with his daughter Jenny, who will continue to run the business in his name. James was born on Oct. 24. 1945, to Carl and Virginia Yonker. He is survived by his wife 0f 32 years, Nancy Wurtzel Yonker; his two children Jenny and Scott; his sister Judy Volgelmeier and her two sons Scott and Barry; close family friend Chris Prince; two uncles Ray and Bob Yonker; his aunt Elizabeth Yonker; many cousins; and several adoring family animals.
