Jane Eileen Lowery, 80, of Pickerington, Ohio passed away peacefully on May 31, 2023 of natural causes. Jane is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Mildred Lowery. She is survived by her brother, Dan and his wife Diana Lowery, her twin brother Jim and his wife Marsha Lowery, her nieces Dana, Dara (Scott), Darcy, Lisa (Rob), and nephew “Ronnie” (Connie) along with many other family members and friends who will miss her presence deeply.
Jane was a 1960 graduate of Grandview Heights High School where she went on to be a well respected legal secretary, for more than twenty years. She was known as a “tough old gal” as she defeated breast cancer, survived a near death car accident and overcame a devastating, life altering encephalitis. Jane then went on to live a peaceful, contented life playing cards with friends and relishing visits from her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
There will be a private family ceremony at Green Lawn Cemetery on Monday, June 12th where she will be buried alongside her mother and father.
If you desire to make a contribution in Jane’s honor, please do so to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
