Best friend and husband to Dorothy Saylor Bozick who preceded him in death, dear brother to Dorothy Leibensberger and loved uncle of Teresa, Sharon, Patti, Kent, Karen, Jean, Glen, Gail, Claude, Ann and “Aim”. As a straight-talking friend to coaches, athletes, trainers and students alike at Ohio State University, John earned the respect and love of many, both within and outside of this “Ohio State family”, during his 65 years in the Columbus community. “The Buckeyes have lost an unsung hero.”“…despite all of your protests, you will always be a legendary figure in Ohio State athletics. We will miss the tough old Serb with a heart of gold” A celebration of his life is planned for 7 p.m., April 11, 2014 at the Fawcett Center, 2400 Olentangy River Rd. in concert with the OSU Spring Football game on April 12.
