Kristin (Borger) Martin

Kristin Borger Martin, age 49, passed away March 30th after losing a courageous battle against ALS. She is survived by her husband/loving caregiver Matt, son Josh, mother Joan Borger, father Fred (Rosemary) Borger, mother-in-law Caroline Martin, sister Carolyn Smith, brothers Jim (Tatiana) Borger and David Evans, brothers-in -law Terry (Cindy), Jim, and Kirk (Sue) and many other close relatives and friends. She was a 1986 graduate of Grandview Heights HS, then earned a bachelors degree in 1990 from Denison University, followed by a masters degree in education from OSU. A beloved English teacher at Franklin Heights HS, she touched the lives of countless students. Kristin had a special love for animals, so in lieu of flowers please donate to Cat Welfare or your local Humane Society. Family will receive friends Saturday, April 7th from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Deyo- Davis Funeral Home 1578 West First Ave, Grandview Hts.
