Laura Tyree Riggs-Kolman

Laura Tyree Riggs-Kolman, 56, died peacefully at her home with her family, April 4, 2008, following an inspirational bout with cancer. Graduate of Upper Arlington High School (1970), and a recent graduate with a BA from Otterbein College and MA from Franklin University. She was an Administrator for the Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner. Preceded in death by her parents Richard and Beverly Riggs. Survived by husband Michael; sons Jonathan and Brandon Riggs; step-children Brendan, Jared and Marissa Kolman; sister B. J. Riggs (Mirek); brothers Mark (Kathy) Riggs, Jim (Diane) Riggs and Matt (Janine) Riggs; brothers-in-law Peter and Matthew Kolman; father-in-law Mickey Kolman; nieces and nephews. A memorial service in celebration of Laura's life will be held Monday 7 p.m. at the DEYO-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1578 W. First Ave., Grandview Hts., where the family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Ohio Wildlife Center in honor of Laura's love of birds.
