Martha Maguire Roest, 87, formerly of Grandview Heights, died on Monday, April 6, 2015 in the company of family and friends at Hawthorne Inn in Galesburg IL. Martha is survived by her children, James (Cindy) E. Hicks, III of Chesterfield, Michigan, Robert M. Hicks of Columbus, Ohio, Judith Valerio of Dayton, Ohio, Harry (Lynn) Hicks of Columbus, Ohio, Mariangela (Laura Behling) of Galesburg, Illinois, her brother David (Terese) Maguire of Newark, Delaware, eleven grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Paul A. Hicks, her parents, her sister Margaret Corbett and her brothers Robert, Terence, James, and William. A celebration of Martha's life will be held at DEYO-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1578 W.
