Mary Virginia Ambrose, of Grandview Hts., February 12, 2008 at Dublin Methodist Hospital. Born April 4, 1914 in New Straitsville, Ohio. Long-time member of First Community Church where she was a volunteer at the Pre-School and the Crib Room on Sunday. Retired from Scott-Krauss News Agency. Volunteer for NNEMAP Food Pantry. Preceded in death by Chester M. Ambrose; loving grandson Brian Todd "Scooter" Patterson; sister Kathryn Lucci. Survived by children Melody W. (Matt) Smiley, Chester R. (Shirley) Ambrose and April E. Patterson, brothers RobRoy (Mary) Walters and William (Peggy) Walters; grandchildren Jason, Autumn, Amber, Luke, Logan and Madison; Brennon; Trent, Brent and Dene`e; 6 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday, 6 p.m. at First Community Church, 1320 Cambridge Blvd., Julie Osborn officiating. Private interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
