Monica Elaine (Alt) Sanzo

Monica Elaine (Alt) Sanzo of Grandview Heights, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 13, 2022, from Alzheimer’s Disease.  She was born on January 16, 1951, in Bucyrus, Ohio, first child of Jerry and Joan Alt.  Monica graduated from Colonel Crawford High School in 1969 and then moved to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education.  While in college, she married her long time sweetheart, Raymond Sanzo. They were happily married for 44 years until Ray’s passing in 2015.  Monica spent most of her career working for Aetna and then Motorist’s Insurance.  Monica was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She is survived by her children, Joe (Colleen) Sanzo, Dominic (Kimber) Sanzo, Carrie (Nick) Beasley and her 7 grandchildren.
