Phillip L. Carr, 76, July 14, 2014 at the Laurels of Worthington. Former owner of Capital City Press. Veteran of U.S. Marine Corps. Member of Trinity United Methodist Church, University Lodge #631 F. & A.M., Brotherhood of Rooks and former member of the Tri-Village Lions Club. Preceded in death by parents Richard & Evelyn Carr, son Richard Carr and sister Peggy Gilmore. Survived by wife of 54 years, Linda; son Michael (Jenny) Carr; daughter Beth (Paul) Noe; sisters Pru Augustine & Cathaleen (Randy) Young; grandchildren Michael "Pudge" Carr, Paige, Cameron & Bryce Noe, Allison Carr and Cassie Smith; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the DEYO-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1578 W. First Ave., Grandview Hts., Thursday 5-8 p.m. where service will be Friday 10 a.m. The family will receive friends following the service at 3893 Criswell Dr. Masonic service Thursday 7:30 p.m. Private interment at Sunset Cemetery.
