Polly Shoup Hicks, 78, December 15, 2006. Graduate of Richwood High School (1948) and the Mt. Carmel School of Nursing (1952). She worked as an R.N. for Mt. Carmel Hospital, the American Red Cross, Grant Hospital and St. Anthony's Hospital. Member of First Baptist Church and active in the Clothes Closet of the church. Preceded in death by parents Grace L. Black and Charles R. Shoup; husband Harold H. Hicks; brother Greely D. Shoup and sister Norma Jean Shoup. Survived by brother Jon Shoup of Florida. Graveside service Monday, 11 a.m. at Claibourne Cemetery, Richwood, OH, Dr. Paul Large officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church, PO Box 91138, Columbus, OH 43209.
