Robert E. Yates, 82, July 1, 2014 at his home in Columbus. Retired teacher for Southwestern City and Washington C. H. Schools. Long-time volunteer for Accessible Arts. Survived by wife of 51 years, Carolyn; son Matthew Yates; daughter Amy (Jim) Schultz; brother Thomas Yates; grandsons Joey & Alex Yates. Friends may call at the DEYO-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1578 W. First Ave., Grandview Hts., Sunday 1-4 p.m. where service will be Monday 11 a.m. Interment Union Cemetery.
