Ruth F. Blake went home to be with the Lord on December 22, 2014 at the age of 97. She was a long time member of Covenant Presbyterian Church where she attended regularly as a part of 4 generations of family worshipping together. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years William E. Blake; brothers Gwynne, Richard, Frank and John Wright; sister Madia Williams. She is survived by her loving daughter Pamela (Robert) Murphy, grandchildren Ryan Murphy and Erin (Michael) Wise, adoring great-grandchildren Natalie, Adrienne and Owen Wise, sister Mary Limes and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, December 27, at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2070 Ridgecliff Rd., Pastor Katie Kinnison officating.
