Samuel E Stone

Samuel E. Stone, age 90 of Powell died August 25, at Wintersong Village in Delaware. Retired from Midland Mutual Life Insurance Co. after 45 years and was a member of Midland Retirees Group, a graduate of Bellepoint High School and Dickinson Business College, and served in WWII with the 37th Ohio Division and Second Island Command in the Fiji Islands. Preceded in death by wife, Ruth Fisher Stone, and parents Harold E. and Vena Rhodes Stone. Survived by his loving companion of the past 14 years, Annabelle Dulin, daughter Lynda (Dale) DePompei of Delaware; son, Samuel (Carol) Edward Stone of Harrells, N.C.; grandchildren Aerianna (David) Leslie, Miranda De Pompei, Lambert De Pompei, James (Theresa) Todd, Michael (Sara) Todd-Stone, and Skye (Laura) Stone; great-grandchildren Trevor and Caleb Todd-Stone, Joseph Todd, and Kylie Stone; sister Ruby (Gale) Warner of Delaware; and his beloved extended family Ronnie Dulin, Larry Dulin, Terry Edwards, Jonathan Dulin, Alisa Dulin and Judy Pavely who have given him so much love and care. Friends may call at Deyo-Davis Funeral Home, 1578 W. First Ave., Grandview Heights, Tuesday 6-8 p.m. where service will be Wednesday 10 a.m. with interment to follow in Union Cemetery.
