Stanley Edward Davis, PhD, 87, of Upper Arlington, March 25, 2008 at Whetstone Care Center. Veteran U.S. Army. Retired professor for The Ohio State University. Survived by wife of 60 years, Mary Katherine; son David; daughter Anne; 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 24, at Whetstone Care Center, 3710 Olentangy River Rd. Private interment in Wooster, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
