Virginia Steele Young, 83, passed away peacefully December 2, 2007 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born August 23, 1924 in Lodi, Ohio to Gerald and Gladys Steele, Virginia was predeceased by her loving parents and beloved husband of 42 years, James L. Young. Virginia is survived by her cherished twin sister Pauline F. Steele and daughter Leslie J. Young who was blessed to have such a wonderful mom. Also survived by brother-in-law Paul M. Young, nephew Robert A. Young, niece Margaret Baechtold and their families. Virginia graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a BA in Business and an MA in History. She is remembered by those who knew her as a woman who lived the Gospel message with the way she treated people - always with kindness and generosity of heart. Virginia's family is most grateful to all the staff at the Forum at Knightsbridge who over the last five years gave her the same loving care they would their own mom or grandmother; and to Mary, her attending ER nurse at Riverside, who was truly an angel. First Ave. Grandview Hts., Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Prayer service Tuesday 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1860 Northam Rd. Fr. Daniel Ochs and Fr. Arthur Espelage OFM, Concelebrants. PROCESSION WILL FORM AT THE CHURCH. Interment Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Agatha Church or J.O.I.N.
