Wanda Lee Fulscher, 84, passed away on February 13, 2011 at Carriage Court Assisted Living in Hilliard, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian Swinehart Chandler, father, Horace Chandler, sister, Mildred Chandler, and daughter, Judith Metzler. Surviving are her sister, Joyce Lorenz of Annapolis, MD, brother, Eugene (Margaret) Chandler of Upper Sandusky, daughter, Patricia (Glen) Ash of Tipp City, sons, David (Susan) Fulscher of Ft Myers, Florida, and Thomas Fulscher of Hilliard and five grandchildren. She was a member of Upper Arlington Lutheran Church and active in The Elizabethan Guild of Columbus. Wanda was born in Marseilles, Ohio on November 11, 1926. She graduated from Grant Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse in Columbus area hospitals and nursing homes. She retired from the home health care agency, Dominican Sisters of the Sick Poor. Wanda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, and traveling. The family will receive friends from 6- 8 p.m. Wednesday at DEYO-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 1578 West First Avenue, Grandview Hts. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, 2300 Lytham Rd., Pastor Paul Ulring officiating. Burial to follow at Chandler Cemetery in Marseilles.
