William H. "Whip" White, 66, of Grandview Heights, December 14, 2008 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Owner of White Life Safety Systems. Graduate of The Ohio State University and member of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity. Member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was an avid tennis player and outdoorsman. Survived by wife Mary Ann; son Michael (Sarah) White; daughter Cara White; brother Robert A. M. (Karen) White; sisters Joanne Nye and Suzi White; many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by the many life-long friends who were a very important part of his life. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1581 Cambridge Blvd. Rev. Philip Brooks officiating. Private interment in Hartsgrove, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Assn. or the American Cancer Society.
